• Localized top-links AB Test
  • This is an A/B test we'll run on wikipedia.org to localize the top 10 links. The phrase 'the free encyclopedia' has been removed from the localized top-links because some wiki's don't have that phrase translated. Instead it has been placed below the wikipedia.org logo.
• Localized Search-box Placeholder
  • This shows a placeholder with the word 'search' on the search input. The placeholder is localized and changes based on the language picker. The translations are pulled in via AJAX when the language picker is updated. The translations are taken from the mediaWiki core 'searchSuggest' message.
